6. User Content
By submitting reviews, photos, or other content to the Platform, you grant Textiles of Africa a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and use that content in connection with the Platform's operation and marketing.
By accessing or using Textiles of Africa (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Platform.
These terms apply to all users of the Platform, including designers, brands, and textile producers ("Producers") who list products for sale.
Textiles of Africa operates as a marketplace intermediary connecting independent textile Producers with buyers. We are not a party to the sale contract between a buyer and a Producer — each transaction is a direct sale between those two parties, facilitated by our platform and payment infrastructure.
We do not manufacture, own, or hold inventory of any fabric listed on the Platform. Product descriptions, provenance claims, and pricing are provided by Producers and are their sole responsibility.
You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
Producer accounts require identity and business verification (KYC) before storefront features are enabled. We reserve the right to reject or revoke Producer status at our discretion.
Payments made through the Platform are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed by the buyer, or automatically released after 30 days from shipment, whichever comes first. Escrow protects both parties: funds are not released to a Producer until the buyer has had reasonable opportunity to confirm receipt.
Refunds and disputes are handled per our dispute resolution process — see Section 7 and the Producer Agreement for details.

Textiles of Africa is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed by Producers, the truth or accuracy of listings, or the ability of Producers to sell items or buyers to pay for them. Our liability, to the extent permitted by law, is limited to amounts paid to us in fees over the preceding 12 months.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or at our discretion with reasonable notice. You may close your account at any time; outstanding orders will be honored per standard escrow terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
